Conflict of Interest builds on the relationships with research activity managed in other InfoEd modules to provide multiple levels of visibility:
- Activity in the other modules can be configured to prompt activity in Conflict of Interest through the automatic creation of records and action I.T.E.M.S.
- Activity in Conflict of Interest can be configured to display status within the other InfoEd modules when those records are being reviewed by their respective offices.
- Users with appropriate security permissions can navigate seamlessly between the Conflict of Interest tracking for a researcher, records on which the researcher is named, and vice versa.
These features are configured by the institution to extend or restrict visibility as necessary.
