How do I obtain I.T.E.M.S. access for a new user at my institution?

Please create an I.T.E.M.S. ticket with your request. Please be sure to include all necessary information for account creation. (First Name, Last Name, email address, phone number). Also please let us know if you would like that user to have edit access for your I.T.E.M.S. portal. Edit access will allow them to create and edit I.T.E.M.S.

If I need immediate assistance with an issue, who should I contact?

If you need immediate support we ask that you call our support line at 1-800-727-6427. Our support representatives are available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily to answer your calls. They will be able to assist you with any I.T.E.M.S. questions or concerns.

When will the next version/release be available?

As releases become available, InfoEd sends out a newsletter announcing the release. If you contact support, our support representatives will be able to provide target time frames for releases but will mostly be unable to provide exact dates.

How do I unsubscribe to SMARTS emails?

If you are able to access your profile within the InfoEd Application: When logged into your InfoEd application you have the ability to edit your profile. In the My Profile tab there is a section for SMARTS. To disable the SMARTS emails select ‘no’ for the radio button: “SMARTS output/”hits” will be e-mailed to you as SPIN matches are found on a daily basis. Select “yes” to receive your hits (“no” will discontinue this e-mail service)”.

If you are unable to access your profile within the InfoEd application: We ask that you contact your system administrator who will be able to resolve that issue for you. If you are not sure who your system administrator is, InfoEd will send a communication to the main contact of your institution and ask that they communicate with the system administrator.
