A pre-publication copy of The Researcher Guidebook: A Guide for Successful Institutional-Industry Collaborations has been released by the University-Industry Demonstration Partnership (UIDP). The purpose of the book is to give researchers on each side of a university-industry collaboration an understanding of the needs of the other side. The first half of the book is dedicated to the perspective of the university researcher, and the second half to the perspective of the industry researcher. The intention is to update versions on an annual or biennial basis, with volunteer effort from a working group of the UIDP comprised of universities and companies who seek to build stronger university-industry relationships.
