Introducing: The NEW SPIN Quick Search

InfoEd is pleased to introduce an exciting new change for SPIN.  Available currently to web-access users only, (those using www.infoed.org to access the SPIN database), the new SPIN Quick Search provides an immense array of benefits, not the least of which is a completely re-engineered full-text search engine.

The New SPIN Quick Search allows you to quickly search against the entire text of the program, easily exclude unwanted terms, and receive better search results that are ranked for relevancy. Searches will no longer be limited by the terms chosen since you will have the ability to pass all entered terms (single words or phrases) through the integrated thesaurus, and have results returned faster than ever before.

Lighting fast with advanced data-mining capabilities, the new SPIN QS has a fully redesigned interface that incorporates times-saving usability improvements like drop-and-drag capabilities, on-the-fly column sorting, and one-click customized data exporting.

Moreover, the new SPIN QS previews grander improvements to come for SPIN Plus in the fall of 2011 (more on that later).

The new SPIN Quick Search is not replacing the current SPIN search engine, and they can both be accessed at the same www.infoed.org location. We encourage all SPIN Web-access users to experience the NEW SPIN QS for themselves.

You can see it nowview a Features Flyer, or contact Kelsey Resell at krosell@infoed.org, for more information.
