Updated InfoEd System Requirements have been published.
There are two updates to note:
- Oracle 11g (11.1.0.7.0) is now certified for use as a database platform with InfoEd version x.802.04 and higher.
- Microsoft Office 2007 is now required to be installed on InfoEd application servers for InfoEd version x.802.04 and higher.
A recently uncovered compatibility issue between a third-party component used by the InfoEd application to convert uploaded documents to PDFs and Microsoft Office 2003 has prompted this update. Installation of Microsoft Office 2007 on InfoEd application servers is now required prior to receiving an upgrade to 802.04
