Meet our Keynote Speaker, Julia Ingrid Lane
We are very proud to announce that Julia Ingrid Lane has graciously agreed to be the keynote speaker at InfoEd’s 20th Anniversary User Group Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Julia Ingrid Lane is currently serving as the Program Director of the Science & Innovation Policy program at the National Science Foundation. She is also the initiator and co-founder of the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics Program at the U.S. Census Bureau. Lane has published over 60 articles in leading economics journals, and authored and/or edited five books. She has organized over 30 national and international conferences, received several national awards, given keynote speeches all over the world, and serves on a number of national and international advisory boards.
Ms. Lane will be discussing her involvement with The STARMetrics program, a collaboration between federal science agencies and research institutions. The STARMetrics program documents how federal science investments support knowledge creation, economic growth, workforce development and a broad range of societal outcomes. The program’s primary goal is to construct a data infrastructure that will align inputs, outputs, and outcomes from a variety of sources in as open a fashion as possible.

InfoEd International 20th Anniversary Gala
In honor of our many years of shared successes, InfoEd International will be holding an evening gala to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with a special tribute to InfoEd founder, Edward Johnson, Sr.
To be held at the historic Gideon Putnam Spa Resort in Saratoga Springs, the gala will surely be a night to remember. Gideon Putnam’s Executive Chef, Brian P. Sterner, has planned an international menu that he assures will please and satisfy everyone. In addition, we will be showcasing foods and wines from around the world, many from the home countries of our varied clients.
